!!!

I was reading through my blogs because a certain someone, I wont name names..ok i will JEN, said I use exclamation points after ending every sentence! There i go again. So I thought Id make a disclaimer before I get too far into this whole blogging business. I guess I tend to end a lot with the ol' ! Oh well it makes me feel like I got the sentence across better if I do it I guess. Does anyone else do this or is it just me?!

Are We There Yet.....

I had to make that long & boring drive to beautiful Baker CA this afternoon! Mike had the boys for Thanksgiving and decided to take them to Utah (he's braver than me, or not as smart as me)! We met there so he didn't have to drive all the way back here. As I'm driving in the most annoying traffic...ya know the kind that is you're going a comfortable 80 mph then the car in front of you slams on her brakes and now youo're going a slow 45mph! This continued for a good hour and a half on the 15. Not fun! I finally see the thermometer and know I'm there! YAY! I decide to get a coke and a lil something to eat for the drive home at Del Taco. There is a huge sign at the drive thru that reads CASH ONLY. What the? I mean come on! Mike pulls up and the kids are cranky, I guess Cody was sick the whole trip and Kyle was in rare form (or just Kyle form) and was cranky the whole trip! Needless to say Mike was happy to hand em over! I was happy to have em, I missed em....until about 5 minutes into the car ride! The crying began...the whining...the fighting...kyle getting up out of his seat and hitting Cody! I mean, seriously! I had to endure this for 2 1/2 hours! In my kids defense they had been in the car pretty much all day. But still didnt make it any easier on their poor ol mom! We finally made it home...I hate that drive!

Happy Birthday Kyle!

Well, Its true Kyle is 5 today! I have a 5 year old! Crazy to think 5 years ago I gave birth to this giant! I remember the horrible long 18 hrs of labor and the 2 hrs of pushing and the pain! But I remember finally when he was born, all 8 lbs, how happy I was! Growing up, I couldnt wait to have a baby! Kyle definitely wasnt the easiest baby...or toddler..or preschooler for that matter! But I wouldnt trade him for the world! He has so many qualities that I love! His smile is the best ever, his hugs make me melt, and his noises are the best ever! He is making so much progress everyday and I am so proud of him! I love you Kyle! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY!

I have a lot to be thankful for...I cant list it all but heres a few!

My kids and their distinct personalities! They make me laugh daily! I dont know what id do without them!

My family, without them these past two years would have been unbearable! I love them more than I say it!

Jen! She is the best ever...she always knows what to say and when to say it! Im grateful for her friendship.

My life...2 years ago I would not be able to say that! I have been through a lot and made it out a better person! I am so thankful for the trials I have been through! I am a stronger more independant woman and definitely a better mom!
